Finding affordable housing in Berlin can be challenging due to limited availability and high demand.
Platforms like ImmoScout can be of help, but often entail significant costs. Luckily, Berlin has six state institutions offering affordable living spaces:
DEGEWO, HOWOGE, GEWOBAG, WBM, Stadt und Land, and GESOBAU.
All their listings can be accessed from inberlinwohnen.de/wohnungsfinder.
However, they don't provide notifications, meaning you need to manually check their site daily.
This is where BerlinFlatHunter steps in.
